By picking early and pressing predominantly Shiraz grapes at the same time as smaller amounts of Pinot Noir from our estate vineyards we have created a vibrant dry style Rosé that can be drunk chilled with food or as an aperitif.
The Shiraz (85%) was harvested early from our Sugarloaf Creek Vineyard and on the same day as the Pinot Noir (15%) from Salvation Hills at Rhymney The Shiraz and Pinot Noir were pressed together, with an early press cut to minimise colour and phenolics. Fermented and aged in stainless steel to maintain a fresh, vibrant, fruit forward style.
The go-to drink for a picnic or lazy summer’s afternoon. Intense primary red fruits, cherry and strawberry with a hint of rose petal. A palate that aligns with the nose – red cherries and crushed strawberries coupled with musk stick and bubblegum. This is a vibrant wine with refreshing primary fruit notes and good natural acidity making it a crisp dry easy-drinking wine. Bring it to a summer picnic, with lots of fresh salads, creamy cheeses and crusty bread.
