Great Western Show and Shine

The Great Western Show & Shine rolls back into town on Sunday 25 January, turning Cubitt Street into a full-blown celebration of great cars, good company and an all-day local buzz, kicking off from 11am.

Expect a standout lineup stretching the length of the street, showcasing everything from hot rods and muscle machines to best unrestored classics and the shining glory of People’s Choice favourites. It’s the kind of lineup that rewards a slow wander, a bit of debate, and plenty of “have a look at this one”.

New for 2026: The Makers’ Market

This year, we’re adding something extra to the mix. A Makers’ Market will sit right alongside the cars, spotlighting local Grampians producers and creatives. Think handcrafted goods, locally made pieces and plenty of interesting finds to break up the chrome and horsepower.

A Proper Day Out

With the street buzzing, the pub will be in full swing from late morning, pouring cold drinks, serving classic pub fare and keeping the music rolling. Whether you’re here for the cars, the market or just the atmosphere, it’s the kind of day that doesn’t need much planning, just turn up and see where it takes you.

Once you’ve had your fill of Cubitt Street, swing past the pub, grab a drink, catch the music and settle in for the rest of the afternoon. That’s how Show & Shine is done in Great Western.
