The vineyard was planted on the steep Eastern slopes of the Grampians in 1969. It represented part of the second coming of the Victorian wine industry which had seen very little new plantings since the turn of the century. A local family bought it in 2013 and re named the vineyard Fallen Giants after the dreamtime stories of the original owners of these land, the Djab Wurrung and Jardiwadjalipeople.
This Rose is made from early picked grapes from our old Shiraz vines, pressed off skins and fermented in stainless steel. A dry Rose with hints of strawberry and spice.
