Hyde Park Vineyard is 5 km southwest of Great Western on Mt. Sugarloaf Road. Some 283 acres of established vines growing in rich deep red ferrous soil laced with siltstone on an undulating topography north facing slope among granite-scattered hills and with an ample permanent supply of water.
This Shiraz has a deep rich red colour with a silky smooth texture and pleasing aroma – all enticing a further taste for the mouth & palate. Dominant characters include middle-eastern spices with red & dark berries. The long and silky natural tannins help to give the structure, texture and flavour to our wines.
Available from the Great Western Hotel at $35 a bottle or $10 a glass
