Best Wines - Pinot Noir

Founded in 1866 in Great Western, Best's are a family-owned and operated winery with some of the oldest and rarest vines in the world. Henry Best’s original Nursery Block, containing more than 40 different varieties and featuring his old Shiraz and Pinot Meunier plantings, are among Australia’s most valuable vineyard resources. Pinot Noir was first planted in the Nursery Block at Best’s in the 1860s. It's believed the origin of these vines dates back to the James Busby collection, Australia’s first vines, of which the Pinot Noir was sourced from the finest vineyards in Burgundy.

Available from the Great Western Hotel at $35 a bottle or $10 a glass
