AT Richardson - Chockstone - Shiraz

The close-planted vines at our Hard Hill Road Vineyard are nestled along a ridgeline that overlooks the Grampians ranges and surrounded by a eucalypt forest. By combining the winemaker's global winemaking experience with a regional flavour,  they are aiming to bring a bold and pioneering winemaking approach to the historic cool-climate Grampians. Breaking the mould with cutting edge blends from alternate varieties and a modern approach to traditional varieties, ATR wines are a contemporary reflection of our place in the Australian bush.

This shiraz has falvours of blackberries, cassis, dark chocolate, black pepper, hints of violets, bacon fat, and liquorice; a warm, velvety structure and long, plush finish.

Available from the Great Western Hotel at $35 a bottle or $10 a glass
